55000-316APO
The Apollo 55000-316APO is a conventional optical smoke detector from the Series 65 range, using light scattering technology to detect smoke particles entering a labyrinth chamber with insect-resistant gauze and ambient light protection.
It features a pulsing LED for status indication (clear in quiescent, red in alarm), responds well to smoldering fires, and uses an infrared LED emitting modulated light pulses every 3 seconds with photo-diode confirmation for reliable detection.
